Why you love UCI: I love UC Irvine because it’s filled with great opportunities, yummy food on ring road, and great people to be inspired by. It provides students with a vast array of student positions, organizations, and services — pathways for learning outside of the classroom. It’s a hidden gem, not necessarily understood by outsiders, but loved by the student body.
What you recommend doing the most: I recommend just going out there. There are so many outlets here for students to pursue their passions or discover new ones. Step outside of your comfort zone and take it all in. Join the sailing crew, be a part of student activism, do something. A great friend of mind told me that this place is a place to inspire and be inspired. Take advantage of anything and everything our university has to offer!
