Extracurricular activities: Diversity in Medicine Coordinator, COSMOS Summer RA, EMRAP Research Associate.
Hobbies: Running, reading, baking sweets, and sleeping.
Why you love UCI: Unlike other campuses, we have an array of opportunities available to us: research, volunteering, and clubs. But the reason I love UCI is that we are only half an hour away from the Irvine Spectrum, the beach, and Disneyland! =)
What you recommend doing the most: Never give up! Being a bio major is definitely difficult and there will be people and classes that make you want to give up, but get involved in research and clubs so that you find your "niche" and motivation on campus. |

Why you love UCI: I love UCI because on any single given day of the school year, I can wear flip-flops.
What you recommend doing the most: There is something for everybody at UCI. No matter what your interests are, there will most likely be a group of people who share your passions. Whether it's trying a new sport, learning a new language, studying abroad, or just sitting with a stranger at Commons, go out there and try new things! |
