Extracurricular activities: Alpha Phi membership development chair and music chair, Barebones Dance Theatre committee member, and dancer in Dance Escape and Physical Graffiti.
Hobbies: Dancing internationally, painting, singing, playing the piano, composing music, sewing quilts, baking, swimming, and part-time dance teaching.
Why you love UCI: UCI is a beautiful campus, it is on the quarter system (so classes just fly by), and it offers so many opportunities to help you after graduation, whether you go to the job market or into graduate school.
What you recommend doing the most: UCI has so much to offer outside of the classroom so learn about all the programs you would want to participate in and get involved! You’ll meet all kinds of people and make friends, learn about things you are interested in, and your resume will prosper. |

Why you love UCI: A beautiful campus, wonderful teachers and peers, and a vast amount of opportunity.
What you recommend doing the most: Getting involved as much as you can! College can be amazing and UCI has so much to offer its students, but you've got to get out there and take the first step! Take your classes seriously from day one, but still make sure you give yourself time to relax and spend time with friends! Also know that it's okay to change your mind…i.e. your major and explore new fields! Why not? You're only an undergrad once! Try some form of research at least once during your four years here and get to know your professors! They're amazing and here to teach you! |

Hobbies: Improv and stand-up comedy, writing, performing, pretending to rap, collecting of random stuff, watching movies (thank you $4.99 Netflix plan), surfing YouTube (on my way to internet fame), video games, pick-up games of various sports that I am relatively okay at, and The Stick Game.
Why you love UCI: In a nutshell, I got mad love for UCI for the abundance of opportunities to explore who you are, what you are interested in and passionate about!
What you recommend doing the most: Work hard and diligently just as much as you enjoy your college career! It might seem stressful and wrought with difficult times, but your personal growth will make you that much stronger and a better person especially as you come out of college. Get involved (it'll be what everyone says), work with the community, open yourself up (intellectually as well as with others), and honestly make the most out of the relationships you build and the knowledge you gain in college. It's the best time of your life, hands down! |
