REQUIREMENTS

Uni Stu 10	Introduction to Civic and Community Engagement (Fall Quarter) [more info]
Uni Stu 100	Doing Community-Based Research (Winter Quarter) [more info]
4 Elective Courses	Electives are from a list of approved courses.  Courses examine environmental stewardship; educational equity; health and communities; public history, art, and culture; global citizenship; social justice; and leadership and public policy. [list of approved electives]
Internship	Eight units of an approved internship related to civic and community engagement.  Internships will typically be completed over one or more quarters.[list of approved internships]
Students must complete at least four of the required courses for the minor in residency at UCI.  A maximum of two courses for the minor may overlap with courses required for a student’s major or for another minor.
